Curling Season:
I would like to thank evreyone for another successful curling season. As President it has been a wonderful experience. We are completing our last of six Canadian Carefree Bonspiels this month. We had full leagues on Monday through Thursday nights. We had 29 teams compete in our Lakes Open Bonspiel. Advertising and curling articles have helped us to become more recognized in our community. Next season we hope to have more members, new curlers, family leagues and women's leagues. | ||
| Back Room Rental: The Building Project has been changed to leave the ice where it is and add on to the Club House. Therefore we are thinking about renting the back room for Snowmobiles, Snowmobile Trailers, and Fish Houses during the summer. We were able to rent the back room this winter for boats and pontoons. We will be removing the boats and pontoons by Mid-May. This invitation is for curlers only. Those interested contact Ron Windloss, (218) 847-2849. |
