To Mel Hodnefield and Dave Langworthy, each has fulfilled a 3-year term on the Board. We have appreciated your service to the Board, and your many hours of volunteer work at the Club. We're happy that you both have indicated that you will continue to help out when you can, as in the past. Thank You also to Andy Van Dam, who steps down as a director to thake on the V.P. position. Welcome Aboard, Mason Pender, Craig Saxlund and Josh Hochgraber, who are replacing Mel, Dave and Andy. Mason works at the Bremer, Craig is the Manager at KFC and Josh is employed at Marco. | |||||||||||||||||
| Club League Championship: Will again be held this coming November. The top (8) league teams from this past season will be invited to play in a single elimination tournmament to have their team and name(s), added to the club trophy. Like last year, the playoffs will be held in combination with our annual club Open House. |

| Summer Work Projects: Include things that need to be done both inside and outside of the club. We'll be focusing on one or two projects each month, with priority given to things that need to be done "from above". Now that we are Smoke Free, the board has decided to remove the two exhaust vents, which will be the first project we'll complete in May. Come join the work crew when you can , beginning at 7:00pm every Wednesday, May 3, 10 and 17 @ the Club. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Run Across Minnesota for Junior Curling: Has Gordy Salvela, a member of the Itasca Curling Club, Grand Rapids, jogging through Detroit Lakes on Friday May 19th. Andy Van Dam has agreed to lead our efforts in supporting this event. All funds raised will be given back to our youth curling. Watch for future details! Thank You to the AmericInn, for providing a room, free of charge, for Gordy and his family. |

| The Club Open Bon Spiel: Is set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday February 9, 10 and 11, 2007. Tom Spry has agreed to once again chair this event. |

| Dues for 2006-2007 Season: Were discussed at the April 22 board meeting. Further discussion will take place, and the board's recommendations will be shared with the membership, before League play begins this fall. |

| Food Donation : Made to Boy's and Girl's Club. All of the left over brats, buns and other perishable items from our kitchen, was donated to the Boy's and Girl's Club after school program. |
