Thank you to everyone who helped get the club ready for the open house. It was truly a pleasure to have Olympic skip Pete Fenson at our club on Saturday, November 10th. The ice is down, the new plant is running, and the improvements to the club are looking great.

Kids Day at The Washington Square Mall
This was handled by board member Josh Hochgraber. Again this year many attendees expressed an interest in curling. We will certainly get some new members because of it.

A Final Word about the Curling Into the Future Capital Campaign.
With the season upon us we are doing very well at our fundraising to pay for the recent improvements to the club. We started the capital campaign with the intention of raising $125,000 in pledges and donations. To date we have received about $75,000 of that goal. There are still many curlers who have yet to donate or pledge. The club needs your support. Future improvements and the completion of Phase 2 of our project depends on your pledges and donations. If you have donated or pledged, thank you for your support. We couldn't do this without you. If you haven't pledged yet, please do so soon. Together we will invest in the future of our club and ensure that many generations of curlers have the opportunity to enjoy the sport we all love so much.
