Junior Curling Instructional League will be held
Mondays from 3:45-5:30pm from November 27th, 2023 through March 11th, 2024
(no league on Dec 25th and Jan 1st).
New curlers will receive a free broom, but must provide their own clean pair of gym shoes not worn outside. No street shoes or boots are allowed on the ice. Juniors will have the opportunity to participate in several area bonspiel events (curling tournaments) throughout the season with the final being the Serrano Junior Bonspiel in Chisholm, MN on March 16-17, 2024.
Scholarships for these optional junior bonspiel entry fees are available throughout the Lakes Curling Club. For questions regarding junior curling, contact Jake Blow at jakeblow14@gmail.com. Cost for the season is $50.
Greenhorn League is on Sundays from 6pm to 8pm, December 3, 10, 17 and January 7, 14, 21. New curlers can learn to play alongside experienced curlers. No experience or equipment needed. If you want to learn to curl but are uncomfortable joining a league team or can’t commit to a full season, this is perfect for you.
